Otherkin #4 is almost out and Key Comics Vault has a sneak preview of what is in-store for Alex and Lorelei. The creative team of writer Marco Vito Oddo and artist Victor Costa left readers desperate to read more, as Alex was left facing Sterling Tower at the end of Otherkin #3. Recap of the story so far
A lot has happened in the first three issues of Otherkin since we were introduced to the funny little man who then suddenly grew and changed form. This is of course our hero Alex, a shapeshifting occultist. The Otherkin. His quest: to find someone known as The Wizard.
Alex’s trips to the National Archives in Richmond, London, see him build a relationship with Lorelei who works there. Alex’s abilities are revealed to Lorelei as a monster is sent to attack him and he defends himself with magic.
Things escalate as Alex discovers a powerful millionaire, Damian Sterling, was involved in the attack on him at the Archives. Worse still, ninja monsters are sent to attack Lorelei. Alex manages to protect her but not before a piece of him is captured by Sterling. In the final act of the third Otherkin comic, Alex prepares to enter Sterling Tower and rescue that piece of him.

The following images are the first five pages of the next issue of Otherkin. The comic will be published on 18 March 2026.
The issue is shaping up to be a classic heist. Alex is the person on the inside, while Lorelei acts as the guide with all the intel leading him from afar. Alex’s shapeshifting skills are on display, as he makes his way through the gauntlet. Will they be able to get him to floor twelve to confront Damian Sterling though?
Where to read the Otherkin comic series
The Otherkin series so far has been incredibly enjoyable with a great dynamic between the two lead characters. The artwork from Victor Costa is gorgeous too and would not look out of place in a Mike Mignola story. Luckily for all of us, Marco Vito Oddo and Victor Costa have made the story very accessible.
