The series that has brought us an untold number of stories from Rogue Trooper and Judge Dredd is offering a unique opportunity to join its creative team. Thought Bubble 2026
Harrogate, UK, will be host for Thought Bubble Comic Convention 2026, a convention has the makers of comics at the heart of it. This is perhaps not a surprise for an idea conceived by artist Tula Lotay in 2007. It has grown from humble beginnings to now be a week long festival celebrating art and music.
It is at this year’s convention that 2000AD will be conducting their talent search. the conventionshould provide the perfect setting for inspiration as comic book heavyweights Simon Bisley, Matt Fraction, Becky Cloonan and more will be there.
To take part in the 2000AD talent search, head to the 2000AD table on Saturday 14 November. Thought Bubble Comic Convention will be 14 & 15 November 2026 and more information can be found on their website.

2000AD has earned the title of the ‘Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’ with good reason. The likes of Alan Moore, Grant Morrison (for better or for worse), Alan Grant, and Ian Edginton have all written for the anthology series. In its almost 50 years of history, 2000 AD has always been challenging, shocking, subversive, and a bit punk. You could help continue that legacy.
