New York Comic Con 2025 has come to a close and it is a good time to look at everything announced by Marvel coming up. Here is your guide to Marvel’s future projects.
The end of the Ultimate Universe
Perhaps not a huge surprise, given the nature of how there has been a ticking timeline since The Ultimates began, but Marvel have confirmed the end of the Ultimate Universe is soon. Ultimate Endgame starts in December 2025, which will also see Ultimate Spider-Man wrap up with issue 24.
Ultimate series end dates:
- Ultimate Spider-Man #24 – Dec 2025
- Ultimate Black Panther #24 – Jan 2026
- Ultimate X-Men #24 – Feb 2026
- The Ultimates #24 – April 2026
- Ultimate Wolverine #16 – April 2026
There is still more to come for the Ultimate Universe though as Miles Morales will be bringing Origin Boxes back to Earth 616. This will create new heroes in the main universe.
X-Men: Shadows of Tomorrow

Currently, the X-Men have just started a crossover event: the Age of Revelation. It sees the mutants sent 10 years into a dark future. 2026 will start with the aftermath of this event called Shadows of Tomorrow. Knowing the future, the X-Men and allies are determined to stop it.
Stefano Caselli’s promotional image has Emma Frost front and centre for this event, possibly indicating she will be a main player.
Accompanying the event are a host of new mini-series and one-shots:
- Rogue, Jan 2026 – Erica Schultz & Luigi Zagaria
- Inglorious X-Force, Jan 2026 – Tim Steeley & Michael Sta. Maria
- Cyclops, Feb 2026 – Alex Paknadel & Roge Antonio
- Generation X-23, Feb 2026 – Jody Houser & Jacopo Camagni
- Magik & Colossus, Feb 2026 – Ashley Allen & German Peralta
- Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant, Feb 2026 – Murewa Ayodele & Federica Mancin
- Wade Wilson: Deadpool, Feb 2026 – Benjamin Percy & Geoff Shaw
Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral

A new crossover event across the Spider-titles was announced: Death Spiral. There is a new serial killer on the loose and they are after Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage, plus anyone in the way.
The event will involve the writers Charles Soule, Al Ewing, and Joe Kelly. It will start with a one-shot The Amazing Spider-Man/Venom, in Feb 2026, before continuing in The Amazing Spider-Man (#23-27) and Venom (#255-257).
Dungeons of Doom
Next year will see the aftermath of One World Under Doom in the event Dungeons of Doom. Written by Benjamin Percy and Phillip Kennedy Johnson, the three issue mini-series will have heroes raiding Latveria after control of the world has been wrestled back from Doctor Doom’s clutches. What they will discover though is that Doom’s home is well protected against hostiles.
Johnson hinted that what the heroes discover in Doom’s stronghold will set up an anthology of horror stories.
Iron Man
Marvel also announced that Iron Man will be kicking off 2026 with a new series penned by Joshua WIlliamson and pencilled by Carmen Carnero. Previews from the first issue have shown that Madame Masque and A.I.M. will be the villains featured at the beginning of the series, with Masque exclaiming she is looking for the next Tony Stark.
Godzilla: Infinity Roar
Following the success of this year’s Godzilla destroys the Marvel Universe, not to mention the various accompanying Godzilla vs. one-shots, Marvel has teamed up again with Toho International.
Godzilla: Infinity Roar, written by Gerry Duggan and illustrated by Javier Garron, will see Godzilla team up with Knull and will feature races from across the galaxy. Expect everyone from Wakanda to the Shi’ar and the Inhumans to face this threat.
Godzilla: Infinity Roar will be published in Feb 2026.
